Principal People is currently recruiting for an Interim Health and Safety Manager in partnership with an education provider based near Telford. This position within the health and safety function will be working closely with the HR department.The successful Interim Health and Safety Manager will support the Health and Safety function to maintain a complaint and positive health and safety culture in the organisation as well as to provide advice regarding all Health and Safety matters to members of staff, students, and senior management.Interim Health and Safety Manager – 3-4 Days a Week £250--275 Per Day – Inside IR35 - 3 Month Contract – Education – ID: 613788Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clear advice and operational support to all members of the organisation regarding health and safety.
  • Carrying out risk assessments, site audits as well as accident investigations.
  • Assisting with updating reports and management systems as well as the implementation of new and current policies and procedures.
  • Support wit the implementation of a new integrated management system, communicating with different departments across the organization to gather relevant documentation and information
  • Help with the creation of PEEPs for students and staff who need them.
The Successful Interim Health and Safety Manager will hold:
  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced using IT applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Have experience working within a facilities management, education, local authority, or engineering environment.
