You will prepare, cut, and assemble timber using saws and CNC machines, ensuring all parts meet quality standards. The role includes maintaining equipment, following health & safety procedures, and working as part of a team to meet production targets.As a Wood Machinist you will be required to:
  • Operate CNC machines and saws to cut and prepare timber.
  • Assemble and finish timber parts to technical specifications.
  • Maintain machinery and keep work areas clean and safe.
  • Monitor stock levels and complete relevant paperwork.
  • Follow ISO/QMS processes and report quality or drawing issues.
Candidate:
  • Skilled in using tools, machinery, and timber processes.
  • Attention to detail with strong communication skills.
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
  • IT skills including Solidworks PDM, Genio, Panel Mac, and Xilog knowledge preferred.
