We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Technical Designer to join one of London’s premier design & build consultancies. Operating at the top of the market, this studio delivers award-winning, innovative commercial environments valued from £250k to £10 million, pushing creative and technical boundaries across the board.Your Role Will Include:
  • Leading the creation of comprehensive technical drawing packages from concept to construction
  • Collaborating with internal design, delivery and commercial teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Acting as the technical authority in client meetings, articulating and defending design intent with confidence
  • Overseeing build control submissions and ensuring regulatory compliance across all technical documentation
  • Coordinating and reviewing third-party consultant information to align with project specs and timelines
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to technical standards across the studio
Experience:
  • Senior-level technical design experience within a high-end D&B environment
  • Highly skilled in creating AutoCAD drawings
  • Deep understanding of build control processes, detailing, and UK building regulations
  • Proven delivery of technical packs for complex commercial workspace schemes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and polished client-facing communication
  • Proficiency in, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp knowledge a plus
