- the establishment and updating of on and off balance sheet structured products programmes;
- securitised and OTC derivatives;
- hedging arrangements as part of structured finance transactions;
- structured repo and securities lending arrangements;
- repackagings; and regulatory advice connected with the above.
- Possesses good working knowledge and understanding of the legal principles associated with the scope of work outlined above; proactively develops this knowledge further.
- Shows awareness of legal developments affecting any specialist areas and regularly attends appropriate training sessions.
- Ability to lead derivatives and structured products transactions, reporting directly to the supervising partner.
- Motivated, reliable and flexible.
- Resilient and able to perform effectively under pressure with good time management skills (eg meets deadlines and responds to requests in a highly timely manner).
- Good attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Has an appreciation of when to seek advice and guidance.
