  • Provide English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' academic progress
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure holistic support for students
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
Education:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related fieldExperience:At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SENKnowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Passion for supporting students with SEN
Working Conditions:This role will involve working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing tutoring services to students with SEN. The work will primarily take place in educational settings (learners homes, local libraries or schools) in Chelmsford, Essex. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and parents to support the academic development of Key Stage 3 students.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
