We are currently looking for a full-time Site Maintenance Person to join our team and help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.Your Role as Site Maintenance PersonAs a Maintenance Person at Glenholme, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the home remains in excellent working order inside and out. Your duties will include:
Carrying out general repairs including basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks
Maintaining the grounds, garden areas, and external appearance of the home
Managing maintenance stock and ensuring safety records are up to date
Liaising with the Estates Manager and Home Manager for ongoing maintenance needs
Occasionally supporting other local sites with maintenance work when required
Being on-call for occasional facilities-related out-of-hours emergencies

What We're Looking For
Strong maintenance background in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or building trades
Previous experience in a similar facilities or maintenance role
A keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards of presentation and safety
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Full UK driving licence is essential
Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, BTEC, City & Guilds) are highly desirable
Health & Safety qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, CITB) preferred but not essentia
