- Carry out repair and maintenance tasks with a focus on speed and precision, ensuring all work meets high standards of workmanship.
- Communicate courteously and effectively with clients, keeping them informed about job progress or issues as they arise.
- Be capable of working independently at customer locations while consistently following health and safety protocols.
- Report to the designated location punctually; in the case of unavoidable delays (e.g., traffic), promptly notify the relevant contacts and maintain communication with the support team throughout.
- Be flexible for occasional overnight assignments when travel distance requires it.
- Take responsibility for managing and recording van inventory accurately, following company processes to track part usage and movement.
- Complete all administrative documentation—such as job reports and timesheets—clearly and within required deadlines.
- Keep up-to-date with service-related materials, including technical manuals and updates to procedures.
- Proactively support the sale and awareness of service offerings and replacement components when suitable.
- Be ready to respond to customer needs as they arise, which may involve participating in an on-call rotation or working evening shifts on a scheduled basis.
- Gather and share relevant insights from the field, especially recurring technical issues, so this information can be escalated to engineering or manufacturing teams as needed.
