- Data Integration Design: Design and implement data integration solutions, including ETL processes, data pipelines, and data mappings, to facilitate the movement of data between systems and platforms
- Data Transformation: Transform and cleanse data as needed to ensure data quality and consistency across different data sources and destinations
- Integration Testing: Perform thorough testing and validation of data integration processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and data integrity
- SQL Optimization: Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation within our applications
- Software Development: Leverage your expertise in .NET to develop and maintain software applications.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address data integration issues. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data integration processes, configurations, and best practices
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver integrated solutions that meet business needs
- Proven experience as a Data Integration Developer or similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing data integration solutions
- Proficiency in data integration tools and technologies such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), ETL tools, data integration platforms, and data warehousing solutions
- Strong SQL skills including query optimization, stored procedures and database design
- .NET development proficiency or experience is required, to help support data integration projects and end-to-end systems within our organisation
- Experience with the most popular database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) would also be a nice-to-have skill, as it may complement the data integration responsibilities by enabling you to create and deliver reports and dashboards from integrated data sources.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Blazor or React would also be a plus
