  • Planning and delivering engaging activities that support children's development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress, and communicating this effectively with parents/carers.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with children, their families, and your colleagues.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at all times, and following all safeguarding procedures.
  • Creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment.

  • You hold a relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3).
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
  • Proven experience working within an Early Years setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and development matters.
  • Strong classroom management and nurturing behaviour strategies.
  • Ability to inspire young learners through creativity, patience, and empathy.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and equal opportunities.
