As a TA, you will assist with delivering lessons, provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
  • Support pupils individually or in small groups to enhance their learning.
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
  • Help pupils build confidence, engagement, and independence in their learning.
  • Prepare and organise classroom resources.
  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate pupils.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and pupil needs.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
