You will take full responsibility for the development and implementation of systems and processes, to ensure we are able to provide the highest quality of care and support.You will also be required to work with the relevant governing bodies on new business opportunities for the service.New Court Place, Borehamwood Hertfordshire, is a residential home with nursing care for 24 adults with physical and intellectual disabilities, plus respite care and services for 16-18 year olds.Our home is a large accessible building. To take full responsibility for the management of the service/s and to provide the highest quality of care and support to the people we support. To work with the delivery team and Quality, Compliance and Innovation Team to ensure the services are rated good or outstanding or equivalent depending on the regulator. To support in the organic growth of the service. Main Duties 1. To oversee the day to day running of the services you are allocated to, this includes: Ensure the rotas are completed well in advance and the appropriate blend of requirements are matched to the rota to ensure we meet all of the people we support needs Ensure that rotas are completed in line with contractual arrangements Ensure you monitor the quality of records by using sampling methods Ensure accident/incident records investigated and any lessons learnt are embedded into practice Ensure safeguarding records are investigated and all appropriate sign off is given Implement and monitor operating systems in accordance with policies and procedures and ensure these are being audited on a regular basis Complete regular finance audits to ensure that the people we supports money is being managed in accordance with their care plans. To support our delivery teams Provide direct supervision to support staff and team leaders Provide onsite coaching and mentoring of staff teams Ensure that you work in a way that supports the wellbeing of the staff team Lead staff meetings Identify staff training needs and plan to meet these in conjunction with the team leader and area manager Ensure staff personal development is ongoing to meet the needs of the people we support 3.
