Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time only)
Salary: £30,520 per annumLead with Purpose. Deliver with Pride.Aramark is currently recruiting a Catering Manager to join our team at King Henry VIII 3-19 School in Abergavenny. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic catering professional to lead a dedicated on-site team, delivering high-quality food services in a rewarding educational environment.What You’ll Be Doing
  • Oversee all aspects of the catering operation, ensuring alignment with the Aramark Executional Framework.
  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver high standards in food quality, presentation, and customer service.
  • Plan and execute a variety of events and daily services with a focus on consistency, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide training, support, and regular performance feedback to the catering team.
  • Monitor budgets and drive revenue growth through effective planning and promotional strategies.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards, including HACCP.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to implement communication and promotional initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
  • A recognised catering qualification (diploma/degree level) and/or 2-5 years of relevant industry experience, including 2 years in a management or departmental leadership role.
  • Experience in high-volume hospitality or event catering (e.g., conference or banqueting).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
  • A solid understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • A commercially focused mindset, with experience managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and open to continuous improvement.
