Employment Type: Permanent, Full-TimeAbout the RoleSphere Solutions is working with one of the region's leading Groundworks & Civils subcontractors to recruit a Mobile Plant Fitter. You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a large fleet of machines and plant on live construction sites across Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset.While you can be based anywhere within these regions, occasional visits to the company workshop in Cornwall will be required.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mobile plant equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate repair schedules and minimise downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices on-site.
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced staff as needed.
- Competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 (depending on experience).
