Protocol Education is currently recruiting for Entry Level Teaching Assistants in Newcastle Upon Tyne.Are you eager to embark on a new and exhilarating journey but lack prior experience? We welcome people from diverse professional backgrounds, including graduates who are passionate about supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning.A school located a 10 minute commute from the City Centre.Your role will involve providing one-to-one support or closely assisting students who require extra academic support.The role entails:
  • Assisting teaching activities in the classroom.
  • Supporting students in their academic progress.
  • Working individually with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Possession of, or willingness to apply for, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Enthusiasm for a career in education.
  • Positive verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
