Start: Autumn Term 2025 | Temp to Perm | Teaching PersonnelWe are seeking a caring and dedicated KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming infant school in Southport this autumn. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering the chance to become a valued long-term member of the team.About the role:Supporting a pupil in Key Stage 1 with special educational needsWorking closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learningProviding one-to-one and small-group support in lessons and during playHelping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environmentWe’re looking for someone who:Has experience working with children in an educational or care setting (SEN experience desirable but not essential)Is patient, compassionate and adaptable to different learning needsHas strong communication skills and enjoys working as part of a teamCan commit to supporting the school’s values and ethosThe school can offer:A warm, friendly and supportive staff teamOngoing training and developmentThe potential for a permanent contract after the initial periodRequirements:Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)Suitable references covering the last two yearsHow to apply:
