Position: ICT Teacher (Key Stage 3 & 4)Are you passionate about digital technology, computing, and preparing students for the ever-evolving digital world? A vibrant secondary school in Hull is seeking a dedicated ICT Teacher to join their team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator who can inspire students to develop essential digital literacy and computing skills.Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons for students in Key Stage 3 and 4
- Teach core topics such as digital literacy, computer systems, programming, and online safety
- Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking through practical projects
- Support students in applying theoretical knowledge to real-world digital scenarios
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate ICT skills across the wider curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them succeed
- QTS/QTLS or equivalent, with specialism in ICT, Computer Science, or a related subject
- Experience teaching ICT or Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is an advantage)
- A creative and adaptable approach to delivering ICT content
- Strong classroom management and a genuine commitment to student achievement
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
