Full-Time, Term-Time Contracts | September 2025 StartAre you a compassionate and experienced Special Needs Assistant looking for a new role this September? Academics are working closely with a wonderful Primary SEN School in Waterlooville, Hampshire, to recruit several support staff for full-time positions starting in September 2025.These are term-time supply contracts with the potential to become permanent for the right individuals. The school caters for Early Years and Primary pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviour.You will play a hands-on role supporting children with both learning and personal care needs, working alongside a skilled and nurturing team in a friendly and inclusive environment.We're looking for candidates who:
- Have recent experience supporting children in an SEN or primary school setting
- Hold a relevant childcare or education qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 3 / NVQ Level 3)
- Have experience with SEN, including Autism and behaviour needs
- Are confident with behaviour management and calm under pressure
- Are available full-time and based in or near Waterlooville
- Are team players who enjoy being actively involved in floor play and daily routines
- Training in Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach is highly desirable
