- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed company targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Conduct persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
- Attend industry events and networking functions to represent the company and generate leads
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to management
- Proven track record of success in sales, with demonstrable ability to meet and exceed targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills
- Effective time management and organisational abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies
- Understanding of current market trends and competitive landscape
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel within the Manchester area and occasionally further afield as required
