We are recruiting for experienced Social Worker to work in a Pre-birth team in Birmingham.
The role is to undertake pre birth assessments with the most vulnerable families who have had previous LA involvement, we will work with families as early as we can, to help formulate plans to safely return home or if not to issues to the family courts. Experience in Parent assess would be advantageous. A strong knowledge of safeguarding background with experience of working with families who have substance misuse Domestic abuse, homelessness, mental health ect.We are looking for someone who can pick up a small case load approx. 10 -12 assessments with supportive team managers and Head of Service.
