Merchandiser – £32,000 - £36,000 + Benefits– Leicester, LeicestershireThe RoleAre you a proactive, analytical professional? If so, we are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team.In this role, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our products are available in the right place, at the right time.If you’re ready to make an impact in a creative and innovative environment, apply today!Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing critical paths aligned with key dates, working closely with suppliers, customers, and colleagues to meet timelines.
  • Raising and managing purchase and sales orders for factories and customers.
  • Analysing customer sales data to highlight potential issues and opportunities.
  • Planning orders and containers to ensure efficient shipping and stock replenishment.
  • Managing UK stock through a 3rd-party warehouse.
  • Coordinating with import partners for UK clearance.
  • Updating internal databases, including managing customer labelling and delivery arrangements.
  • Creating product line sheets for factory compliance with customer specifications.
  • Negotiating with factories and customers on dates, order quantities, and pricing.
  • Supporting Account Managers and the Head of Merchandising with budget planning.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy across all aspects of merchandising.
  • Self-management skills with the ability to take initiative and drive projects.
  • A solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Merchandising experience, ideally in homewares.
