Job Views 129DescriptionA warm, professional family based in Kensington is seeking a highly experienced, full-time Nanny for a long-term, sole-charge role caring for their two young children: a 2.5-year-old and a 3-week-old baby.The position is available to start as soon as possible to allow for a smooth transition with the current nanny, who is leaving in mid-September.This is a fantastic role for a professional, qualified nanny who is organised, proactive, and brings a gentle, nurturing approach to childcare. The position offers a great work-life balance with no travel required, occasional ad-hoc babysitting, and generous benefits.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, sole-charge care for both children
- Support developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities
- Prepare meals, manage daily routines, and support the eldest child's nursery schedule (5 afternoons per week)
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment for the children
- Collaborate respectfully with parents and household staff
- Plan stimulating, educational activities and outings
- Ensure continuity of care during the handover period with the current nanny
- Holds a relevant childcare qualification or extensive experience in similar roles
- A second language is highly desirable
- Confident and experienced in caring for newborns and toddlers simultaneously
- Calm, kind, and emotionally attuned to the needs of young children
- Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage routines independently
- A team player who communicates well and supports a harmonious household environment
- Comfortable around pets - the family has a small, friendly miniature Labradoodle
