Are you an enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant with experience in EYFS?
Prospero Teaching is looking for a committed EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Heywood. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is confident supporting early years learning and development.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support under the guidance of the class teacher
Lead literacy and numeracy interventions with small groups or whole class
Deliver cover supervision during teacher absences
Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment
Monitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents
Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils
Requirements:
Minimum of 12 weeks experience in a UK school (EYFS experience preferred)
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
Up-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided)
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Able to provide two recent references from UK educational settings
