The role offers a full-time opportunity to support students’ physical education, health and wellbeing through engaging, inclusive and varied lessons. Whether you are a newly qualified graduate or an experienced teacher, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive secondary school.This is a full time position set to begin in September. The role involves the delivery of theoretical and practical lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for promoting physical activity, developing fundamental movement skills, and encouraging participation in competitive sport. The role may involve the supporting the schools extracurricular programmes including clubs and events such as sports days,Responsibilities :
  • Plan and deliver PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Lead and support extracurricular activities
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for physical learning.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly
  • Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider staff.
Requirements :
  • QTS desirable, but not essential
  • Passion for sport, physical development and student engagement
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience coaching sport
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures
