This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level commercial property lawyer to join a highly respected and well-established team in the heart of Dorset.This role sits within a thriving, mid-sized commercial practice known for its depth of expertise and long-standing client relationships. The successful commercial property lawyer can expect to handle a broad spectrum of commercial real estate matters, acting for a diverse range of clients including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, private wealth clients, and rural estates. Dependent on experience, this hire can be at either senior associate or even salaried partner level.What's on offer:

The work you'll be doing:
  • Advising on acquisitions, disposals, leases, financing, and development matters.
  • Acting for a broad client base including commercial landlords and tenants, local developers, high-net-worth individuals, and rural landowners.
  • Handling everything from strategic land deals and commercial lease negotiations to sales of garden plots and farm holdings.
  • Collaborating with tax advisors, accountants and land agents on complex, multi-faceted matters.
Candidate requirements:
  • A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 6 years PQE and significant experience and technical expertise in commercial property.
  • Comfortable managing your own files and supporting junior team members.
  • Commercially minded, approachable and confident with clients.
  • Keen to work somewhere where quality of service, not just quantity of work, is the priority.
