HGV Technician

- Location: Preston
- Salary: Competitive basic salary + Overtime + Shift Allowance
- Hours: 4 on 4 off rotating shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)
- Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on HGVs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete job cards and all associated paperwork accurately.
- Work to Health & Safety and DVSA standards at all times.
- Participate in shift work on a rota basis, supporting the needs of the business.
- Fully qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Post-apprenticeship experience in a commercial vehicle workshop environment.
- DAF product knowledge or experience is desirable but not essential.
- Confident working with diagnostics, fault-finding, and modern workshop systems.
- A flexible approach to shift work and a strong team ethic.
