SEND Teaching AssistantHinckley£400- £550 per weekTo apply, you must show proof of right to work in the UK.Pay rates shown are dependant on qualifications and recent experience.About the roleConnex Education is in partnership with a vibrant Primary School within the Hinckley area to recruit a Sen Teaching Assistant providing 1:1 support to work on a regular relief cover basis starting in September 2025.You will have strong teamwork skills as the school in question has a key focus on teamwork and collaboration to be able to achieve student and school goals. A key ethos and aim for this school are to ensure all learners are provided focused support to ensure excellent progress is made.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive classroom setting. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of each child. Person Specification
  • Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years.
  • Be willing to support on a 1:1 basis or work in small groups with children
  • Have behaviour management skills
  • Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
  • Be organised and reliable
  • Have a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process a new one
  • Willing to go the extra mile!
