Day-to-Day Cover Supervisor – LeicestershireGSL Education is looking for flexible and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day basis across various secondary schools in Leicestershire. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and want to gain experience in different school settings.Position Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive rapport with students
  • A good level of Maths and English
  • DBS registered on the update service
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes across multiple subjects during teacher absences, following pre-set lesson plans
  • Ensure a positive and productive learning environment, addressing any classroom management issues as needed
  • Support students in staying on task and assist with understanding instructions as necessary
  • Liaise with school staff and provide feedback on the day’s progress
