Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver seeking a fresh new opportunity with no weekend work? This is a rare and exciting chance in the logistics industry!We are looking for a motivated and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic team in Avonmouth. You will be delivering barrels and cases of drinks to pub cellars, working alongside a supportive driver's mate. Join us in helping to keep the drinks flowing and become a key member of a team where every delivery matters!This is a full-time, permanent position, offering 46 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts starting between 06:00 and 07:00Pay, benefits and more:

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Deliver barrels and cases of drinks to pub cellars, averaging 9 drops per day, while working closely with a driver's mate to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
  • Conduct vehicle checks, including opening curtain siders and inner curtains to prepare for smooth unloading
  • Unload barrels from the vehicle and place them onto a mat for secure handling
  • Roping and lowering barrels into cellars, ensuring safe and accurate placement
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Hold a valid Class 2 licence
  • Less than 6 points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
  • An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including heavy lifting
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
