This is an excellent entry point for an ambitious auditor to join this group of impressive brands, all connected with a positive culture of high performance, energy and great pedigree.About the roleThe Retail Auditor will be responsible for planning and conducting retail audits of the 20+ concession points of sales and boutiques across the UK. This role involves ensuring compliance with Group guidelines and local procedures with strong focus on inventory controls fraud prevention and brand image protection. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of controls and inventory management.Key responsibilitiesCarry out retail audits of 20+ point of sales and support the implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Plan and conduct audits of concession points of sales and boutiques for all Group Brands to ensure compliance with Group retail guidelines, RACI matrix, local procedures, and contractual agreements.
  • Perform store visits to facilitate independent verifications and dialogues with retail team.
  • Identify main gaps, set up corrective action plans, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Effectively and timely communicate the results of the retail audits to local Management.
  • Support the main stakeholders involved in the set-up of action plans and follow up until their full implementation.
Ensure the proper conduct of cycle counts and yearly full stock counts at concession points of sales, boutiques, and warehouse.
  • Review all aspects of inventory management, including stock tracking, valuation, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure accurate and up to date records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and disposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sales, operations, to gather information and ensure accurate recording of stock movements.
  • Analyse inventory-related reports, stock levels and adjustments, develop and monitor KPIs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management policies and procedures to optimise stock accuracy and efficiency.
Improve the retail controls on points of sales
  • Conduct trainings for point of sales personnel on fundamental retail controls, Group retail guidelines, and local processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and assist in the follow-up and closure of audit action plans for retail-related findings.
  • Assist in the roll out of any new Direct to retail (DTR) stores, ensuring sound retail controls and proper control processes are in place.
Person profile
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in external or internal audit or internal control, preferably in retail operations.
  • Willing to travel across the UK.
