๐Ÿก Provision: Childrenโ€™s Residential Home (Ages 7-17, EBD & Mild Learning Difficulties) - This is a New home for an established provider.
โณ Hours: Various on 36hour or 48hour contract
๐Ÿ’ฐ Salary: ยฃ27,144 - ยฃ36,192 base 8-10 sleep-ins/month (ยฃ52 per sleep)
๐Ÿ’ฐ Potential take-home: Up to ยฃ41,184 per annum๐Ÿ”น About the RoleAre you an experienced Residential Support Worker looking to take the next step in your career? Or are you already a Senior Practitioner seeking a new challenge?As a Senior Childcare Practitioner , you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD) . You will be a role model, mentor, and key worker, ensuring the best possible care and outcomes for the children.This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing organisation with a strong Ofsted โ€œGoodโ€ track record and a commitment to achieving Outstanding ratings.โœ… What Weโ€™re Looking Forโœ” Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent โ€“ see below) or enrolled on.
โœ” Experience working with children in residential care or similar settings
โœ” Ability to manage challenging behaviours and create a nurturing environment
โœ” Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
โœ” Fluency in English (with the ability to understand UK dialects)๐Ÿ’ก Alternative Qualifications Considered:
