Here, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.Job Description:The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a Welding RPE & PPE Sales Specialist for the Personal Safety Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.Here, you will make an impact by:Achieving sales and margin targets quarterly, under an annual sales planIdentifying and wining opportunities as required under sales planWorking with end customers to advise and promote 3M PPE and Welding RPE SolutionsManaging the sales pipeline with the Distributor network through effective relationships and strong communicationCollaborating with 3M technical teams to ensure a high level of on-site support where requiredYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:Strong knowledge of the PPE / Health and Safety Market is essentialAbility to communicate at all levels of the organization both externally and internally and be able to build excellent customer relationshipsA self-starter/self-motivated with a drive to succeed with the ability to work on your own and as part of a teamStrong communication, negotiation and presentation skills - written and verbalCompetitive & Proactive instinct - takes initiative on issues and challenges to find optimum solutions.Tenacious, resilient - ability to navigate through conflict and challenges towards positive outcome, retaining focus and perspectiveAdditional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Have a passion for sales and exceeding sales targets and KPIsBasic knowledge of the related EN standards would be preferableAbility to develop 3M brand loyalty across end customers and DistributorsAbility to ensure accurate communication of product updates and developmentStrong negotiation skillsNumerate and proficient with analysis and manipulation of dataProficient in use of IT tools, Excel, Word, PowerPointJob specifics:Travel: Field based sales role with expectation to travel across the territory up to 75%Sales Area: Southern UKIdeal candidate location: Within the defined territory Southern UK region
