
Product Development Technologist

- Deliver and support new and existing product development projects
- Participate in pilot plant and factory trials, liaising with operations, process and technical teams
- Represent development in cross-functional project teams
- Monitor food trends and consumer behaviours to inform innovation
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimise ingredients and processes
- Ensure documentation and process controls are maintained
- Support sensory and consumer understanding with the S&PG team
- Maintain strong links with technical support functions across manufacturing sites
- Essential:
- HNC or BTEC in Food Science/Technology
- 1-2 years' development experience
- Intermediate Food Hygiene qualification
- Strong time management, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Computer literate and confident communicator
- Passionate about food and innovation
- Desirable:
- BSc in Food Science/Technology
- Practical baking knowledge and understanding of ingredient functionality
- Chef background considered
