This is not just about supporting- it’s about leading business development activity that puts clients at the heart of everything we do.You’ll work alongside senior leaders to shape strategy, implement plans, and spot opportunities that take our growth to the next level. This is an exciting role for someone who thrives on collaboration, loves building relationships, and wants the freedom to make a tangible impact.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Business Development Initiatives: Drive strategic BD and marketing activity across the Mayo Wynne Baxter brand
  • Manage Key Accounts: Lead account planning, oversee client care meetings, and ensure our clients remain central to our growth plans.
  • Target and Expand: Identify new opportunities, create go-to-market strategies, and develop referral pathways to unlock growth.
  • Client Engagement: Build relationships with clients and prospects, introducing our teams and services in a way that resonates.
  • Data-Driven Growth: Use CRM tools and analytics to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and drive pipeline performance.
  • Collaborate on Events & Partnerships: Research sponsorship opportunities, design event strategies, and execute activations with the wider team.
  • Champion a Growth Mindset: Coach and challenge partners and fee earners to achieve their own BD goals, acting as the link between teams and marketing specialists.

  • Proven BD Expertise: Experience as a Business Development Manager in a professional services environment.
  • Relationship Builder: Skilled at developing strong, trusted relationships at all levels.

  • Influencer & Collaborator: Highly engaging, persuasive, and able to bring colleagues on board with new initiatives.

  • Strong Communicator: Excellent written and presentation skills, with the confidence to speak to clients and senior stakeholders.
