- Educated to Degree level (preferably in a relevant field) or significant recent equivalent work experience level gained through work in similar role
- A Project or Programme Management Qualification
- Experience using Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools
- Recent experience in a programme or project support role
- Ability to accurately input data into a variety of spreadsheets / databases
- Problem solving abilities
- Knowledge of wider NHS issues
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, being able to communicate effectively at all levels across the organisation
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Builds relationships with work colleagues
- Able to identify the urgency of a situation and action as appropriate i.e. issues and risks
- Attention to detail to ensure that correct information is produced / communicated
- Time management skills including the ability to prioritise, plan and manage own workload
- Excellent organisational skills
- Understands clear objectives and targets
- IT literate with well-developed skills for the use and application of information technology systems including file management, safe and effective internet use, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work in a multitude of environments, from busy to isolated
