This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who need tailored support, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their potential.Key Responsibilities of SEMH Learning Support Assistant (LSA):
- Support students with SEMH needs in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Assist in implementing personalised learning and behaviour plans.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistent support.
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet individual needs.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEMH or similar needs.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach.
- Relevant training or qualifications in SEMH support are desirable.
- The right to work in the UK.
- An up-to-date CV with two references from the last two years.
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one.
