12-Month Contract | Excellent Rate | Remote Working AvailableWe are working with a well-regarded Local Authority in the North West who are seeking the support of an experienced Locum Highways Solicitor to join their legal team.The RoleAdvise on all aspects of highways law including agreements, traffic regulation orders, and rights of wayDraft, review, and negotiate highways-related agreements (including s38, s278, and s106)Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to officers and elected membersSupport ongoing projects, regeneration schemes, and infrastructure developmentsManage your own caseload with minimal supervisionKey DetailsContract Length: 12 monthsStart Date: Within the next 5 weeksWorking Pattern: Full-time preferred (part-time considered)Location: North West (remote working available with occasional office attendance)Rate: Highly competitive / great hourly rateRequirementsQualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with proven experience in highways lawPrevious local government or public sector experience highly desirableAbility to work independently and deliver high-quality advice under time pressureFor more information or to apply, please contact:Pat McKeown
