We're seeking a skilled professional to join a dedicated Fostering Team in Merseyside. This role plays a vital part in recruiting, assessing, supporting, and supervising foster carers to ensure children and young people have safe, nurturing homes where they can thrive.🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake Form F assessments for prospective foster carers
- Provide supervision, support, and guidance to approved carers
- Ensure all placements meet safeguarding and quality standards
- Contribute to the matching process to place children with the right families
- Work collaboratively with children's social workers, carers, and multi-agency partners
- Monitor and review foster placements to promote stability and wellbeing
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- 4+ years' post-qualified experience, ideally in fostering or children's services
- Strong understanding of fostering regulations, safeguarding and the National Minimum Standards
- Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with foster carers
- Excellent assessment, report-writing, and communication skills
- A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children in care
