- Lead the Trust's CQC registration and regulatory framework
- Act as key contact for all CQC engagement and inspections
- Advise senior leaders and staff on CQC standards and readiness
- Coordinate Trust-wide preparation, training, and improvement work
- Deliver reports, audits, and reviews to monitor compliance
- Support governance documents and contribute to board reporting
- Maintain accurate records and manage regulatory risks
- Deputise for the Deputy Director of Corporate Governance as needed
- Graduate of a degree programme
- Masters level qualification or equivalent significant experience
- Leadership or management qualification
- Other relevant post graduate qualification
- Project Management qualification
- Significant experience working within current CQC regulations and its regulatory framework for NHS trusts, and significant experience applying these in an acute healthcare setting
- Significant experience presenting complex data and information in a meaningful form to a variety of audiences at different levels
- Expert level understanding of the link between regulatory compliance and risk, and significant experience in managing compliance-related risk
- Experience working at a senior level in an acute healthcare setting
- Experience in project / programme management in a healthcare environment
- Experience developing and implementing strategy and policy
- Experience operationally managing diverse teams outside of the immediate area of work, including staff who are more senior
- Experience working in corporate governance within the NHS
- Graduate of a degree programme
