Site Manager - Motorway Drainage WorksOverview:We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee critical drainage works in the Yorkshire region, starting from 8th September, coinciding with the scheduled highway closure. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong site coordination skills and a thorough understanding of drainage systems and highway safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:·Oversee and manage motorway drainage works during closure periods.
·Supervise the cutting out and repair of existing drainage systems beneath the motorway surface.
·Manage the demolition and removal of manholes and associated structures.
·Coordinate deep excavation works (up to 3m deep) safely and efficiently.
·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
·Liaise with subcontractors, plant operators, and engineers on-site.
·Maintain clear documentation and daily reporting.Requirements:·SMSTS certification (mandatory)
·Proven experience in highways or motorway construction projects.
·Strong understanding of deep drainage and excavation safety protocols.
·Ability to work nights or weekends during road closures (if required).
