Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Water Hygiene Technician on behalf of a well-established company based in the Bristol area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team where you can grow your skills and make a real difference in maintaining high water safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular water temperature checks to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Perform water dosing and chemical level monitoring.
  • Service thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) and showerheads.
  • Complete slushing and sampling of water systems.
  • Carry out complex cleaning tasks and general maintenance.
  • Identify faults within water systems and perform basic troubleshooting.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build client relationships.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records, including reports.
  • Assist in developing and implementing legionella control measures.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and standards.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in water hygiene, water treatment, or plumbing.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. plumbing, water hygiene, legionella awareness).
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
