- Management experience at band 6 or above
- Relevant Clinical Experience
- Child Protection / Safeguarding training at Level 3
- Service and / or policy development
- Evidence of financial management skills and ability
- Evidence of change management
- Leadership skills
- Ability to prioritise work to tight deadlines
- Effective communication at team levels and with other agencies and general public
- Ability to communicate using a variety of formats
- Evidence of making positive changes which improve outcomes
- Research and audit skills
- IT skills - ECDL or equivalent
- Professional qualification
- Evidence of professional and personal development
- Working knowledge of Children's Act and Safeguarding procedures
- Ability to show strong, calm and decisive leadership at all times, including in crisis situations
- Ability to problem solve and be adaptive to change situations
- Computer literate
- Professionally approachable, honest and friendly
- Ability to travel
