This is your chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners, helping them thrive academically and personally.About the Role:As a KS3+ Teaching Assistant in Nottingham, you will be instrumental in guiding students through Key Stage 3 and beyond. You’ll work alongside dedicated educators to provide tailored academic and emotional support, helping students navigate challenges and celebrate achievements. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, empathetic, and committed to student success.Key Responsibilities of KS3+ Teaching Assistant (TA):
  • Support students in core subjects including English, Maths, and Science.
  • Adapt learning materials to suit individual student needs and learning styles.
  • Promote engagement and motivation in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with teachers to monitor progress and adjust support strategies.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
Requirements of KS3+ Teaching Assistant (TA):
  • Understanding of the academic and emotional needs of KS3+ students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with students and staff.
  • Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in secondary education (desirable but not essential).
To work with us as a KS3+ Teaching Assistant, you will need:
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through us.
