As part of a values-led charity, you'll join an organisation that places equity, diversity, inclusion, and staff wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.What you'll doYou will support the delivery of the MSc Early Child Development and Clinical Applications programme by supervising student research, delivering workshops and lectures, and providing academic and pastoral support via personal tutoring to ensure students successfully complete their studies in line with UCL standards.What you'll bringYou will be a doctoral-level researcher with supervisory and teaching skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports postgraduate students in completing high-quality research.Essential skills and experience:
  • Doctoral qualification (PhD or professional doctorate) in a relevant field (or near completion), with solid understanding of research methods and issues;
  • Experience supervising student research projects;
  • Confident user of statistical software, specifically SPSS and R;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tutor, mentor, and provide pastoral support to a diverse group of students;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing workload and deadlines.
Key detailsHours: Part-time: 9 hours per week, including Tuesdays and Thursdays.Salary: £45,427 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.Location: Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).
