Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Rochdale. This part-time, term-time role is a fantastic opportunity to support children’s well-being during lunchtime and ensure they have a positive experience during break times.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise children in the dining hall, ensuring they eat safely and behave appropriately.Foster positive behaviour and ensure children follow school rules during lunchtime.Encourage healthy eating habits and manage any dietary requirements.Supervise children during outdoor play, ensuring their safety and encouraging active play.Respond to minor accidents or incidents and provide first aid when necessary.Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the dining areas.Help students transition smoothly from lunchtime back into afternoon lessons.Always adhere to school safeguarding and behaviour policies.Requirements:
A caring, proactive, and positive attitude towards working with children.Experience managing groups of children and promoting positive behaviour (desirable).Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (if not already in place).What We Offer:
