Working Hours: Monday to FridayThe RoleRobert Half is proud to be partnering with a well-established business based in Castle Donington to recruit a Temporary Cash Allocation Clerk. This full-time role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and prior experience in cash allocation or transactional finance. This is a hybrid role, requiring just one day per week in the office, offering excellent flexibility.The position is initially for 3 months, with strong potential for extension or a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately allocate incoming payments against customer accountsInvestigate and resolve unallocated or misallocated paymentsReconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepanciesLiaise with internal departments and external customers regarding payment queriesAssist with bank reconciliations and ensure records are up to dateSupport the credit control and finance teams as requiredMaintain accurate records in line with company policies and audit requirementsYour ProfileProven experience in cash allocation, accounts receivable, or similar finance rolesConfident using accounting systems (Sage, SAP, Oracle or similar)Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detailComfortable working independently and in a hybrid environmentGood communication skills for resolving queries both internally and externallyAvailable to start on short noticeWhat's on OfferHybrid working - only 1 day a week required on site in Castle DoningtonSupportive and collaborative team cultureOpportunity to gain experience in a well-respected businessPossibility of contract extension or permanent employmentRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
