This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional with extensive experience in cost management and contract administration within the restoration or construction sector. You will play a pivotal role in managing project budgets, tendering, and cost control, ensuring that each restoration project is delivered efficiently and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities
- Lead quantity surveying activities on multiple restoration and conservation projects.
- Prepare detailed cost plans, budgets, and estimates.
- Manage procurement, tendering processes, and subcontractor negotiations.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and final account settlements.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure transparency and precision.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, industry standards, and best practices in conservation projects.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in restoration or historic building projects.
- Strong contract administration and cost management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., MRICS/CIQS) preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of key responsibilities.
