Based at our Capenhurst site you’ll be working as part of the project delivery team, the purpose of this role is to coordinate and plan the delivery of projects across the project protfolio, assisting the Snr Project Manager in the establishment of projects, formulating the project teams and maintaining oversight from project inception to completion and handover. Ensure the implementation of project requirements are completed on time, within budget, to the required quality and safety standards.At Urenco we’re committed to giving you opportunities to be your best.   • Actively promote a pro-active safety culture and be a role model, throughout the project lifecycle and across the Capenhurst site and wider Urenco Group
  • Work in conjunction with the Construction Manager and project delivery teams to ensure that all engineering works meet the HSSE requirements of the contract
  • Advise, consult, and provide feedback in the development and evolvement to deliver against UUK’s objectives and strategy across capex portfolio and wider Group Projects
  • Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design, constructability issues and test problems
  • Work in conjunction with the Construction Manager and project delivery teams to ensure that all engineering works meet the quality requirements of the contract
  • Assist in the delivery of engineering/design scope to meet project safety, cost, schedule integration of industry standard construction practices to achieve project and business objectives
  • Assist the Construction Manager, Programme Manager and Snr Project Managers in the development of high performance teams, ensuring flawless integration of all sub-disciplines and functions throughout the project lifecycle
What do you need to thrive in this role?
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or similar health and safety qualification
  • SSOW trained and nominated for the role – Area Authority and Isolating Authority (Electrical and Mechanical disciplines)
  • Temporary Works Supervisor / Coordinator
  • Management of Confined Spaces
  • Management of Working at Height
  • Management of Hot Works
  • Electrical Isolations
  • Qualifications relative to your specialist discipline. e.g.
  • 18th Edition qualification (Electrical)
  • NVQ diploma (Electrical)*
  • NVQ diploma (Civil)*
  • NVQ diploma (Mechanical) *
  • Or equivalent with relevant experience
  • Previous experience working across full project lifecycle experience
