We are hiring for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a service and maintenance team across the M62 corridor. You’ll cover a clean portfolio of commercial contracts — offices, schools, banks, and public sector buildings — delivering a high standard of service across systems like VRVs, VRFs, splits, chillers, AHUs, and mechanical plant.This is a hands-on role with strong technical backing, great kit, and clear career progression.What You’ll Be DoingServicing and repairing VRV/VRFs, splits, AHUs, chillersCompleting remedial works and quoting where neededResponding to emergency callouts (including occasional out-of-hours rota)Supporting junior engineers/apprentices on-siteLogging FGAS reports and asset condition records accuratelyLiaising professionally with clients and identifying upsell/replacement opportunitiesWhat You’ll NeedF-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079)Strong hands-on experience with VRV/VRF and split systemsFull UK driving licenceConfident in client communication and reportingIdeally: C&G/NVQ Level 2+ in A/C & RefrigerationBonus: experience with AHUs, chillers, and mechanical plantWhat’s on Offer£44,000–£48,000 base salary (depending on experience)Regular paid overtime25 days holiday + 8 bank holidaysCompany van with personal useSpecialist tools, phone, and laptop providedOngoing technical training (including Daikin, Mitsubishi, etc.)Clear progression path within a supportive, engineer-led businessWhat’s NextIf this sounds like your kind of role, just send over whatever version of your CV you’ve got handy — no need to polish it.
