
Play Assistant(s) Required

- Supervise and engage children in play activities.
- Support structured and unstructured play, encouraging creativity and social skills.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Assist in setting up and tidying play areas and equipment.
- Support children with additional needs, ensuring an inclusive environment.
- Promote positive behavior and help resolve minor conflicts in a friendly and supportive manner.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a high standard of care.
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures.
- Experience working with children in a play, childcare, or educational setting (preferred).
- A friendly, patient, and approachable personality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic first aid training (or willingness to complete training).
- Knowledge of child development and play-based learning (desirable).
- A relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not required).
- Ability to adapt to different situations and engage children of various ages.
- Right to work in the UK
- Child Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
- At least 2 references covering the last 24 months
