Role: Product Manager - Business Optimisation and RFI/RFP ManagementConsulting Seniority: Consultant - ManagerDay rate: £400-£575 (Inside IR35)Project duration: 6 month contract with potential extensionLocation: 3 days on site in London, 2 days remoteWe’re supporting a consultancy that specialises in business and digital transformation, known for fostering strong relationships while designing and delivering large-scale, complex transformations worldwide.The end-client is in Consumer Goods. They are going to launch a formal market exercise (RFI/RFP) to learn about new trends and innovations in Business Process Mining and to evaluate whether they should switch to a more advanced tool. A Product Manager is required to translate business needs into vendor requirements, drive structured evaluation, and guide the client toward the right decision by balancing current gaps with future opportunities.We’ve a preference for you to apply directly via our website as the consultancy will eventually view your profile in our platform.   • Define business requirements and success criteria for process mining tools.
  • Conduct market research on vendors, trends, and innovations (AI, automation, predictive modelling).
  • Lead the RFI/RFP process drafting, coordinating vendor responses, and organising demos/POCs
  • Build and manage evaluation scorecards to compare tools objectively
  • Present findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders for decision-making
Requirements
  • An independent consultant
  • Strong understanding of process mining / automation / enterprise systems
  • Experience running vendor evaluations, RFIs, and RFPs
  • Analytical skills to assess trade-offs in cost, scalability, and functionality
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strategic mindset to align tool selection with long-term business goals
